About Us
Founded in 2020 in Purdy, WA, our family owned barbershop was built on the belief that coming to the shop could be much more than just a haircut. We created a space that cultivated connection in our community in a time when many were feeling isolated. In 2023, we expanded into a collective space in Gig Harbor, bridging the gap between a traditional barbershop and a modern salon. Here, you'll find an elevated atmosphere offering high-quality services, from precision straight razor shaves to expert color treatments and IBE extensions.
We take pride in fostering long-lasting relationships with our clients, promoting self-care that uplifts both inside and out. Our space celebrates community and creativity, showcasing the work of local artists and hosting events like vinyl night to bring people together.

Stewart
Owner and founder of Black Cat. Licensed in 2016, he specializes in classic masculine cuts and modern styles, lived in textured looks, and building connections that go far beyond the chair. Stewart strives to support his clients inside and out and is a certified member of the Lion's Barber Collective, trained in mental health awareness and advocacy. His passion for art, music, and design heavily influences the aesthetic of the shop, and his passion for people leads him to tailor each experience and style to the individual.

Growing up in the industry and cutting hair since 2011 has given Tiphany an incredible foundation. Her work ethic, prioritizing client comfort and experience, along with valuing education and growth make Tiph on heck of a barber. Specializing in traditional straight razor barber services, including short and long masculine shapes, Tiphany excels at helping her clients look and feel their best. When you're in her chair you'll feel immediately you're in a welcoming place with a focus on connection and community. Learning new techniques and skills to ensure she provides the best service for all textures and lengths is a passion. Tiphany prioritizes individual self expression, and for everyone from all walks of life to leave her chair feeling confident.
